"Prices have shot up this past year with some taxi services going mad and pricing themselves out of the game, in my opinion. But App Carz have kept theirs reasonable in the climate and as long as they do I'll be happy to use them. I agree that using the card payment can be a bit confusing and worrying. That's why we always pay in the car. The one gripe is it says one price on the app but when you phone, its another and also, I detest the practice of charging an extra pound for stopping at an ATM."

"App is ok to use but beware of the drivers they use. Always sending incompetent unprofessional drivers who can't grasp the full English speaking language and don't even get out of the taxi to assist disabled passengers who need ramp access. They also send out constant minibuses for one person so they can't exactly have a fleet of reliable Cars ready and instead throw out a 12 seater for a one person 10min journey to work."
